Mannhattan

WEll this is my third attempt at writing this blog and it has erased three times so I am going to make it short and sweet and spare you all the details I had in the other ones. To some it up... Jon and I went and drove all over the city on Sunday. We went to Brooklyn, Harlem, the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan. We got out and walked around time square and watched the hockey playoffs on the jumbo screen at Madison Square Garden. This is an interesting city with so much going on all the time. We will see the city in more detail throughout the summer but we just wanted to drive around and see everything.
On Monday me and some of the wives got together for a cinco de mayo party. It was fun and we made goal chains for our husbands. They are like the count down chains you make for christmas except we right something fun for them to get every time they get a sell on each ring.
The best news of the day is that I passed my clinical boards. What a relief. I am waiting on one last result and then I will officially be able to work as a dental hygienist. I am so excited.

Puppies

I know their not as cute as everyones's cute children pictures but they are my children for now and I think they are adorable. The little guy is the newest edition to our family. He is tough. I thought cooper might be a problem but this guy can hold his own. He is so cute though. I haven't had a chance to go into New York yet but when I do I will for sure post pics. I am still busy getting settled and used to the time change. Jon is doing awesome and we have a great office this year so I am excited for this summer. Not that things will always go smoothly but the hope is as close to!(: Love and miss you all.

Graduation and Moving

Well it was awesome graduating on Friday. It is a weird feeling for some reason. We had a party at directors house on Tuesday and said our goodbyes as well as on Friday. I have spent two years with these girls so it will definately be weird not seeing them. It was so fun having my parents come. They are so supportive. I love them so much and I am greatful for their love and example's. For a grad gift my parents got me a cute new little yorkie puppy. Jon and I had been wanting a brother for Cooper so it was perfect timing. I will take pics and show you later. It was also Jons birthday so we got to celebrate and go to Tocano's as well. He is such a sweetheart to share his special day with me. I love him tons and am amazed more and more by him.
I was able to go to lunch with my friend Jamie and Cousin Jennifer and their cute babies before I left. It is always hard to say goodbye but it is a good thing we have blogs.
Jon and I are both in New York now. Cooper flew with me and he did great. It will take some adjusting I think but I know it will be a fun and eventful summer. Visitors are welcome! Our apartments are really nice and so is our neighborhood so that is good. We live about fifteen minutes from the center of the city. During rush hour it is thirty min. though. The traffic hear is like nothing else. It is awful. Anyway's I hope all is well with everyone. I am still waiting to hear back about my tests scores. I am keeping my fingers crossed this is such torture.

I have the best friends

My best friend Jade just sent me a beautiful vase of flowers. She is such a wonderful friend. We have been friends since the seventh grade. I miss her tons.
My neighborhood friends are also so wonderful. Since I am leaving for the summer they threw me a going away party. It was so much fun. Thanks sadie and everyone else!

Mutual

I am the Miamaid advisor in my new ward. We had a fun get to know you night with the girls and had pizza,wore pajama's, prizes, and lots of treats.

Moab

Jons work took us to Moab last weekend for some fun and training. Thursday everyone went on a hike to the arches and then we went to dinner and had a huge bon fire after. It was made of train track logs and was enormous. Friday everyone went Jeeping. I stayed back with a friend and got pedicures, went to lunch, and hung out by the pool. Jon came back early and took me on a short ride. From what I saw I am gald I didn't go. It was so scary. These Jeeps climb crazy straight up and down stuff and the are on trails that have cliffs on both sides. That night we went to a really good restaurant on top of a cliff with a wonderful view. They also had a wonderful speaker come and talk to us about relationships and how to support our husbands. It was really good. The next day all the wives had a meeting and they got us these cute journals and yummy girl scout cookies. They gave us some survival tips for the summer and how to have a good time and support our husbands. Anyway, Thanks Platinum it was tons of fun. Moab is beautiful.

Eater Weekend!!

This Easter was so fun because we had family in town. My aunt Becky and her family, My aunt Corrina, My cousin Jen and her family, and my cousin Ally. We had a delicious dinner, and yummy cake. We celebrated my cousin Grace's fifth birthday and she had a cute Hello Kitty cake. It was so fun and my uncle Justin kept us entertained and laughing the whole time. It was Jon's first time meeting my Uncle Justin and aunt Becky becuase they were living in Germany when we got married.
This week I took my eight hour test. I felt like I was in a cloud when I got done and like I had whip lash from looking down so long. The worst part is that I don't find out my score for 6 weeks so hopefully I passed. Hope all is well with everyone.

Update

So February flew by for JOn and I. I won't bore you with all the school work I have been doing but I will say that I am excited I passed my anesthesia exam. It is the first of three big exams I have to pass to become a dental hygienist. The next is this Tuesday. I have an eight hour test to take so I will be glad when that is over. Wish me luck! My mom was so nice and suprised me with a beautiful boquet of flowers. They are the prettiest I have ever seen. I have the best mom ever.
In February we celebrated Valentines and our three year anniversary. Both were very fun and romantic. We were also lucky to go with some people from Jons work to a nice lodge up by park city. It was just over night but it was so fun. We went to dinner, bowling, and JOn went in the heated swimming pool. The next day the boys went snowmobiling and the girls went shopping and to lunch. We all got good deals, I got a purse for half off. I was so excited. Other then that JOn has kept busy with work as usual and decorating our house because I have been to busy. He is so wonderful and helpful.
