November 2020

November brought beautiful weather, the kids final sport games which they all improved and did well in, horse rides, gorgeous sunsets, and lots of family time! We set up the Christmas tree super early this year because it just felt right and with COVID and the results of Biden winning the presidential elections we needed some cheer. The elections are always stressful but this year brought lots of arguments, anger, and dishonesty making me lose all trust in our government. I feel blessed to know who I truly am and who I can look to for peace. We know through the gospel that righteousness will reign. Jon and I felt like we got COVID mid November but if it was that it was super mild and we were happy to be done with it. The kids never showed signs of anything and we are hoping things can normalize soon! We enjoyed a beautiful thanksgiving day with all the Curtis side. We enjoyed a delicious meal and desserts. I made a berry pie and salad. We played pickle ball, the kids had train rides, and they also got to hot tub! To end the month with a bang we celebrated our sweet Sophia!! She turned six and had a small party with some of her best friends. It was unicorn themed with fun games, good food, and a piƱata! Sophia is a mix of sweet, athletic, girly, funny, spiritual, and smart! There is nothing she can’t do and she will have a bright future!0
