24th Birthday

Dec. 11 I turned the big 24! Yikes I am getting up there(: No just kidding but it does seem like just yesterday I was 19. Time is flying by. Jon Spoiled me by getting me a day at the Spa. I have never felt so important. They pamper you like crazy when your there but I guess thats kind of the point(: Before I went to the spa Jon and I went to lunch at this really cute place that has italian, russian , greek type foods. It was delicious. After that I went to the spa. I got a mama mia maternity massage for two hours, then I got the body smoothie where they exfoliate your skin and then rub this really yummy lotion on it to make it extra soft. Next I got a relaxing pedicure and while I was getting my pedicure they brought me this large yummy cupcake. It was such a fun time and I would definately recommend this place to everyone. Jon came and picked me up then we went home and I opened gifts from Jon and my parents. It was funny because Jon got me new running shoes and my parents also got me several pairs of shoes. I also got a scarf and mittens from my brother Kevin. Jon got me a really cute apron too because he says I am always spilling. After that we ordered my favorite pizza ( Two Jacks ) and then the boys (kevin and Jon)sang happy b-day to me. It was such a nice relaxing day. Thanks to everyone that made it so special! ( Phone calls, cards, texts ect.)

Snow Storm!

I just thought I would post a few pics of our first big snow storm this season. It started snowin this morning and it hasn't stopped. It's almost a straight white out outside. The dogs are having a blast running around in it and chasing eachother. The only bad thing is that I just cleaned my floors. Oh well (: Hope everyone is having a great day. I think I will stay inside today and stay warm!

Fun Drive

Jon and I took the dogs up the Canyon by our house for a fun drive. It is awesome having such beautiful places so close by that we can visit. We got out and walked around as well. The dogs love the great outdoors especially Cooper. Jon started throwing rocks at the ice in the stream. Cooper saw this and tried to follow him over some logs but he fell through some ice and got all wet. It was kind of sad but also funny.

Thanksgiving in Canada

Jon and I spent a week up in Canada visiting family. It was so good to see everyone and we had so much fun. We went up to Waterton National park with Jons sister Jen and her son Noah and had a picnic. It was so windy that we mostly ate in the car but thats ok because it was so beautiful up there. Everywhere you look there is a beautiful view and lots of cool animal life. Jon helped his mom with scuba lessons one day. It was funny to see him work with 26 teenagers in a pool. I got together with some of my sister inlaws and did a fun christmas craft. Later that day we had a delicious dinner and took family pictures. That night Jon had fun building a fire and we roasted hotdogs for dinner and smores for dessert. Yummy! Thanks everyone for the great time.

Getting Creative(:

So lately I have decided to take up a new hobby. I wanted to make my baby something but I didn't think it would turn out so I put off doing it. Well this week on Monday I decided it was time. I went to get some materials and ever since then I have been sewing. I made two blankets. They are baby blue with one side silky and the other side that really soft material. I did the trim with corners so it took me longer then planned but I am happy with the finished product. After I made the large blanket I still had enough material to make a small one. I did this one a little different but it also turned out very cute. I really like sewing so I need to come up with some more projects. Any ideas send them my way. Jon says sew the baby a teddy bear but I think that might be to advanced for my skills. Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. Oh ya Jon also took a pic of the pretty full moon over our house. It was so bright.

The dogs just sat there and watched me. I think they were curious about the sound that the sewing machine made. The are so funny.

Lunch with friends!

I am so excited that my good friends Kristen and Corrine live in Utah again. I met up with them to go to lunch and I had so much fun catching up and visiting. After lunch Corrine had to go back to work so Kristen and I decided to go shopping. It was for home decor and baby things mostly. We both found cute stuff so hopefully I can decide where to hang it on my wall(: I am so mad I forgot my camera that day. After that Kristen was going to head up to Bountiful with Corrine so I offered to watch her cute dog. She has a Yorkie and I do too so thought my dogs would enjoy a friend. My dogs thought they were getting a new brother I bet. They were so funny together but had lots of fun. Maveric was even depressed the next day when duke had to leave.

I had a blast with the dogs. They chased eachother around all night

I don't know how Jon got them to line up so nicely but they did while he took pics.

Jon helped me give the dogs a bath because they ran out in the mud and were covered. He always thinks they look so funny when they are all wet so we took some picturs of them. They are quite curious and Maveric pretty much follows Cooper wherever. Jon recently put a dog door in and Cooper decided to venture out on his own. Of course Maveric followed him and we couldn't find them for like 45 min. Jon and I drove and walked the area all around our house while Kevin stayed back in case they came home. I was so scared they got ran over or something. Anyways, all is well, other than I was really mad at them when we finally found them in an empty house being built at the end of our street. Dumb dogs! I still love them though(: Kevin was also watching his friends little dwarf bunny this week so we got to play with him as well. His name is Spanky and my dogs loved playing with him. He is such a cute little bunny. Well thats about all thats going on around here other than my belly growing more and becoming off balance.haha This baby karate chops me some times and he is always doing flips. I love him and can't wait to meet him.

Pics from Tuesday fun Group!

I had tons of fun on Tuesday having everyone over. We had delicious Corn Chowder soup with rolls and yummy fruit salad. I was sad I didn't get any pictures of all the girls playing together but it was quite funny to watch them and all their little personalities. We also had fun figuring out how to make the turkeys. I learned that if I am having people over to do a craft, I should probably make one myself first. haha oh well. They all turned out cute. The littl girls played hide and seek while we made our turkeys. Thanks everyone for coming!

Happy Halloween!

We've enjoyed all the Halloween festivities this week! On Tuesday night we went with our friends Dan and Lydia to a Haunted House! Well actually there were two parts to it, a haunted forest, and psycho motel. It lasted a whole hour and by the end my stomach hurt from all the screaming and being tense. I get so scared and jumpy when I go to those things but it was so fun at the same time. Jon loved it even though I know he was scared. He would definately disagree. We ended the night by getting jamba. On Wenesday we went up to our friends Jason and Missy's for a Halloween party and dressed up like bad to the bone bikers(: It was so fun and they had everything decorated so cute. We had delicious chilli, pigs in a blanket, and many other treats. Jon, me, and some of the others carved pumpkins. It was my first time doing one of those extreme designs so it took forever but i was happy with the end result. Jon carved a bat and I carved trick or treat and a bat in mine. Unfortunately I don't know if I will get pictures of them lit because I left them out in the sun yesterday and they shriveled up): Everyone was dressed so cute and it made me realize I need to be more creative when it comes to costumes. On Thursday we had our ward party. I was in charge of the cake/candy walk with my miamaids. All the little kids were dressed so cute. Today is actully Halloween and I think Jon and I will just stay home and pass at candy. Hope everyone enjoys there Trick or Treating!

Mom and Dad at Breakfast

My mom and dad came up to visit this past weekend and we had so much fun with them. On Friday we went to see a movie, Saturday we went up to Sundance to get my favorite breakfast and enjoy the beautiful scenery, Saturday afternoon we went to the BYU game and watched them barely scrape by another win. It was a great game to watch though! Saturday night we went to Ruby River and got some delicious steak and ribs for dinner. It was a quick weekend but it was so nice to be able to visit with family again. My grandma also brought us her famous cinnimon rolls and rolls. Yes, they are almost gone already.

On Monday, My friend Lisa had some girls over to her house to have lunch and decorate sugar cookies. I had so much fun and for anyone that knows me, they know I like to bake(: Later on this night Jon and I got door bell ditched with a fun halloween treat. It came with a cute saying and instructions to pass the favor on. So Jon and I had fun door bell ditching other people and leaving fun treats. Hope everyone has a fun halloween!
