Christmas preparations and our month of December!

After Thanksgiving ended we were in full preparation mode for Christmas around our house. I love getting up our tree and decorations early so that we can enjoy the spirit of Christmas as long as possible. The kids had fun helping me put the ornaments on the tree. Bailey threw many of them at the ground so we had a few casualties. Wyatt also was more interested in playing with the tree than my other kids have been at his age so lets just say it's a miracle the tree stayed intact and decorated for the most part! We had fun doing all the pre-christmas activities such as visiting santa, making gingerbread candy trains, decorating candy tree's with the kids friends, hosting a christmas get together with our friends, making cookies and passing them out to our neighbors, talking about the true meaning of christmas with the kids, and so on. This year was so fun watching the kids get excited. Bentley asked Santa for a blue scooter, fast shoes, and a vacuum. Bailey wanted a doll but still didn't get the hang of things like Bentley did. They loved seeing Santa and even sat on his lap this year without crying. They loved enjoying the nice weather and playing outside too! Setting up the Christmas tree!

Our Get together with friends. We played games, ate great food, had delicious treats, and sat around the fire visiting. It doesn't get much better than that!
