Jon and I are the proud parents of our sweet children Bentley, Bailey, Wyatt, Sophia, and Olivia. We love spending time as a family, especially outdoors. I enjoy being a mom, baking, reading, and working as a dental hygienist part time. Jon loves being a dad, playing hockey, riding dirt bikes, working out, and also keeps himself busy with his pest control company. Our kids keep us busy with sports, music, dance, gymnastics, and school.

January Activities so far..
We have been enjoying the new year so far! We have been so blessed with health and I pray that it continues. The kids have enjoyed getting out and going on bike rides. Bentley has had two flats so far so I hope that we can keep the stickers and thorns from affecting our rides too much. The kids love jumping on their trampoline, playing with their trains, and other toys they got from Christmas. Bailey and Wyatt love playing with her baby dolls, all of the kids love this I spy book I got for Bentley and will sit all together looking at it for long periods of time. They are glad to be back in their activities like preschool for Bentley and Dance for Bailey. I think all kids just like to be on the go and if not they are bouncing off the walls.
We were so lucky to get to go out to the desert with my family. It is a favorite passed time where we go shoot guns, ride motorcylce's, quads, rangers etc, we bbq, and the kids play in the dirt with trucks. I was proud of myself for riding the motorcycle because it has been a looooooong time since I got on one. The kids had a grand ole time and so did Jon and I!
We went to pick Jon up from work one day and the kids begged to go inside. Here is Bailey sitting at Jon's desk. She had scribbled over paper, played with the stapler and, was talking on the phone before we even knew she was there.
Here is Wyatt with all the blankets he likes to sleep with. I let him have three which I thought was a lot, but in the morning with out fail he will have seven more that he went and got out of his drawer.
New Years Eve and Day!
We were excited because our friends Morgan and Stuart invited us to their annual New Years Eve party! They have it at Stuarts parents house because they have a stone fireplace that cooks the pizza to perfection. We had pizza's, delicious salsa, and treats. The kids had a blast playing together, watching movies, playing toys, and just running around. The Adults had fun visiting, watching football, and playing ping pong. Morgan set up a cute photo spot with fun accessories to use. I tried to get one of the kids but bailey got glitter in her eye and Wyatt wouldn't get in the picture. Jon also refused to take a picture so I ended up getting some with just me and the girls. We had martinelli's, and lighted sparkler. We had a blast and are so thankful for great friends! Around ten we headed home, put the kids in bed, and then Jon and I watched a movie until the ball dropped. I always feel like it is so anticlimactic but hey whatever. It's a new year and I am excited to have new goals and things to work towards. Some of those are to eat healthier, work out at least three times a week, talk nicer to my kids and Jon, study the book of mormon daily, and attend the temple twice a month. I like to record these so I can see how I do by the end of the year. With how fast time flies these days I feel like I need to get going stat.
The next day we took it east and headed to the park to enjoy the weather and have a picnic. That night we went to my parents and lighted off fireworks.
Our nephew Bowen was Blessed
Chad and Jessica blessed their baby after Christmas while everyone was still here. Chad gave Bowen a wonderful blessing and the spirit was definitely felt. We had some refreshments and visited with everyone after and then it was time for them to head back up to Pinetop.
Phoenix Zoo
We were lucky to go as a family to the Zoo with some of the kids cousins and their Grandma Curtis. Our kids love animals and so the zoo is always a fun adventure! We got to see all of the animals up close and the kids even rode the camel this time. At first Wyatt screamed but then quickly he began to enjoy the ride. Wyatt screams at most things these days which is funny because he enjoys playing and going places it just always takes him a little longer to feel comfortable I guess.
