Bentleys first trip to the Zoo!

My friend Lindsey was watching her friends little boy Van and called to see if I wanted to go to the zoo with them. I had nothing to do and had been wanting to get Bentley out of the house to go do something fun so this was perfect. I called my cousin Jennifer who is in town with her little boy Kyle to also come. We got to the zoo around nine... by the time we figured out how to open Vans stroller it was nine thirty and we walked into the zoo entrance. Why do companies have to make things so complicated... seriously, I tried, Lindsey tried, and some other people from the parking lot tried and none of us could figure it out. Anyways, sorry about that rant. We wanted to go to the petting zoo first thing. The kids loved it and the animals we saw along the way. It was so annoying because the zoo was under lots of construction so we had to keep backing tracking. It made me realize how out of shape I really am(: We got to see all the cool animals though and made it all the way through the park. The kids were great especially considering it was past their naps and lunch time. Bentley kept pulling at my shirt trying to nurse. He is so cute and so much fun. He is in to everything but it's fun to watch him explore. His smile is pricless and his laugh contagious.
Bentley also had his first baby sitters this week that weren't grandma, me, or Jon. This was a big deal! I was so worried and anxious but everything turned out great. I guess someone can watch my boy besides me(:

The crew. We didn't realize what time it was so the kids were all getting cranky by the end because it was way past their nap times. Hence this picture with none of them looking.

Bentley loved his first visit to the zoo.

Me and Bentley with the Giraffes.

The giraffes were being fed so they were really close. So cool to see them all fight for food.

This spider monkey looks like its doing a yoga move with his mat.

This was the mother monkey. Her husband was down waiting for lunch and making everyone laugh. He was growling at the zoo keeper and yawning really big. It was hilarious.

Lindsey and Van watching the monkeys.

This was a cute baby monkey. They have many similar mannerisms like humans

They were many beautiful birds. They would copy you if you talked to them.

The cute little Wallaby. The zoo keepers said we were lucky because they are rarely out.

Bentley just stared at the goats. They kept trying to eat the fruit snacks Bentley had in his hand.

While one goat distracted lindsey and Van the other tried to snatch her purse. It was so funny.

Kyle loved the goats. He even loved jumping in the puddles of mud, pee, and water. This made Jen so happy(:

This monkey was quite the acrobat. He was swinging all over the place. The kids and Adults loved watching this.

I think elephants are so interesting. I was glad it was out walking around because my last couple trips to the zoo they were alseep.
