Jon and I are the proud parents of our sweet children Bentley, Bailey, Wyatt, Sophia, and Olivia. We love spending time as a family, especially outdoors. I enjoy being a mom, baking, reading, and working as a dental hygienist part time. Jon loves being a dad, playing hockey, riding dirt bikes, working out, and also keeps himself busy with his pest control company. Our kids keep us busy with sports, music, dance, gymnastics, and school.

Getting Creative(:
So lately I have decided to take up a new hobby. I wanted to make my baby something but I didn't think it would turn out so I put off doing it. Well this week on Monday I decided it was time. I went to get some materials and ever since then I have been sewing. I made two blankets. They are baby blue with one side silky and the other side that really soft material. I did the trim with corners so it took me longer then planned but I am happy with the finished product. After I made the large blanket I still had enough material to make a small one. I did this one a little different but it also turned out very cute. I really like sewing so I need to come up with some more projects. Any ideas send them my way. Jon says sew the baby a teddy bear but I think that might be to advanced for my skills. Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. Oh ya Jon also took a pic of the pretty full moon over our house. It was so bright.

Chrisit, I need you to teach me how to sew.
Wow Christi! When did you learn to sew? How did you make the little triangles?? That blanket is so cute. Make them extra big so you can swaddle your little guy :). What a fun talent to have. Sewing machines scare me! I bet you could sew some jeans for him if you have only old ones to rip up.
Way to go! That sounds like fun but I am not sure I would know where to start, I am impressed! When is your due date? Your dogs are cute, they sound like fun!

Christi those blankets are beautiful! I have never seen a blanket with the corner edging. That is so cute and the baby will love it. I just got the baby a few more things! I can't wait to give them to you at the shower. Love ya
Super duper cute! I told you they were easy and I love the triangle corners too. I just started making aprons for gifts that could be another project but they can get pretty tricky if you don't buy the right kind of fabric which is the problem I have ran into. Good job. If you have any cute ideas send them my way.
