May 2020 crazy continues!

I am going to talk about the good first:) we were able to have a nice Mother’s Day weekend and celebrate my dads birthday up in Heber Arizona and the family cabin. We went on hikes, roasted s’mores, played games by the fire, shot BB guns, and visited to our hearts content. The kids got dirty and played all day with their cousins so I would say it was a huge success. We also had a nice sacrament meeting Sunday all together and we got to share our testimonies with each other. The kids were able to finish school online and do a final goodbye parade to their teachers at the school. I got emotional thinking about all the hard things and change both the students and teachers had to overcome. We had several gorgeous lake days at saguaro and canyon lakes. The three older kids know how to wakesurf now so that has been fun to watch them learn and develop a love for the lake. We are still very much keeping play dates small and outside. I let the kids swim but have a hard time not having them come inside due to corona virus with their friends. It’s is an ongoing problem and things have been cancelled or changed to be more safe.
