Suprise visit and oct. update.

We had so much fun getting together with family the last week in Sept. Chad and Jessica came into town and we did fun things the whole week. Unfortunately after that week Jon got sick with a cold and then soon after so did Bentley and I. This season is not going to be fun with all the sickness that is going around. I feel like keeping me and my family quaranteened to our house but I know that can't happen. I have become quite the germ freak especially since Bentley is now all over the place. Anyways, I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to the fall season. I sure am and I love love love the weather.

Bentley boy... You have been sick this whole past week. It has been exhausting to say the least but you are starting to be your old self again. Bentley had a 102.6 fever for three days, a runny nose, and a cough. I was scared he might have the well talked about swine flu but we took him to the doc and he just had a really bad cold in combination with his four top teeth coming in that was creating such a high fever. He is doing better though.

My sick little boy): He is wearing an Oilers Hockey outfit that Jon loves of course. His team won last night against Montreal so I thought I would let Bentley represent.

All the kiddos eating cinnamon rolls at Michael and Ambers house. They held a fun family night for us all and we had so much fun. Thanks youguys.

What a cutie. I just love your smile Bentley.. even though getting teeth is no fun at all. You now have your bottom two and top four. My good friend lindsey gave him this outfit and i love it.. thanks again linds!

Party at the park! We had fun playing on the playground, playing catch with the football, eating pizza and cupcakes, visiting, and watching the quail.

We took a photo like this about 16 years ago and thought it would be fun to re- create the shot.

Silly shot. we were having so much fun....j/k... my brothers were embarrased

Grandkids; Brody, Tate, Annabelle,Rex, Bentley, Chad jr.

All the grandkids on the slide. There are two photos because it was hard to get one with all of them looking(:

Tate on the panda.. He has the look like "why doesn't this thing go faster"

Rex on the spring horse

Belle wanted to swing too and cousin Rex was in the other baby swing so she shared with Bentley.

Once again Bentley loved the swing.

Chad, Jessica, and their two kids suprised us and came all the way from SanFrancisco to suprise everyone. It was so fun to have them here.

Uncle Collin making sure Bentley does fall back. He is such a great helper(:

Yes.... bentley is now climbing up stairs.... scary because he can't come back down yet. He is so proud of himself and likes to climb to the top and smack his little fingers on the wood floor.

Trip to California!

Jon was making a trip to california for some business so we decided to make a family trip out of it. Our friends Riley and Lisa were so gracious to allow us to stay at their place. We enjoyed playing games with them, eating, and going to the beach. There son Kingsley was so good to play with Bentley as well. We had so much fun going to the park because Bentley loved every minute of it. He was all smiles. The beach was also fun but more difficult to keep Bentley from crawling everywhere. He is so active now. What happened to my little boy is all I have to say. Hope all is well with everyone.

Bentley and I with my good friend Brittany

Sand Monster

Bentley loved the sand. I had to restrain myself from grabbing him to let him crawl through the sand

Bentley also loved the water

At the beach. Jon and Bentley got hit by a huge wave.

Look at those long legs

Our little family

This was a big tall tree we put Bentley in. He wasn't sure about being up that high.

Daddy and Bentley

Bentley loved the parks in California. He especially like the swing and slide that daddy took him on.

seven months and lots of firsts!

Well the month of September has flown by just like the rest of the year. Bentley is learning new things with each day it seems like. I wish I could figure out how to put his videos on here. They are quite entertaining. He crawls all around now except he doesn't use his knees, he just pulls himself like a slinky. He would rather be standing than on the ground crawling. He can balance himself standing for a few seconds now. He will play for hours in his exersaucer and also up next to the ottoman. He loves watching Cooper and Maverick play and he loves to feed them from his chair. Bentley has got a good handle on feeding himself puff cereal and Nutri Grain bars. He loves both fruit and vegetables! Bentley loves when grandma Curtis watches him. He will giggle and giggle when anyone plays with him but especially when Heidi or Collin come up to him. I love to hear him laugh and his smile just melts me. When I nurse him he is so precious and loves to run his fingers through my hair or play with a soft blanket. He went to Build a Bear for the first time when cousin Belle and Chad were in town. My mom took them and we all had such a great time! Bentley loves stuffed animals and my mom put a recording of her voice in the dog as well. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I look at the video monitor and Bentley will just be playing away with his stuffed animals in his crib. Something kind of funny about Bentley but sad when we see him cry is when we get a new garbage bag out to put in the trash for some reason he freaks out and starts crying hysterically. It is the weirdest thing because it doesn't matter how soft you do it as soon as he sees that bag he is in tears. He is such a good boy though and we are so lucky to have him.

This is what Bentley does when he wakes up. He will cry and pull down his bumper so that he can try to find us. It is so adorable and I love when he spots us.... He will get a huge grin on his face.

Bentley's first Diamond Backs game. He loved it and was so good the whole time. We sat right down by third base and the players dugout. My mom and Collin were there with us as well and we had a great time.

Bentley's first time sitting up in his bath and playing with his toys. Look at that cute little bum.

Bentley wearing a cute hat when we were at Babies R Us.

First time wearing a bow tie. How cute!

Bentley wearing his dads favorite bib... The Oilers! He likes to feed himself as much as I will let him.

First time riding the saddle at Texas Roadhouse! Yee hahhhh

Going after Brookes phone. Why is it that all kids love those things.

Bentley and I with cousin Brooke! We made delicious cookies that day.

Look at that fuzzy little hair coming in.

Me and my little angel.

He loves to stand up against the ottoman and play with toys or electronics left there like the remote control or cell phones.

Bentley is such a stud!

My two handsome boys before church. I love to see them in their white shirts together.

Bentley likes to "help" me with the laundry. Usually this requires some things to be folded over and over again (:
